Blane Dydasco was born in Newport News, Virginia in 1982. Raised in Hawaii, young Blane spent most of his time playing football and experimenting with cameras.
At St. Louis School in Honolulu, Hawaii, Blane served 3 years as a Receiver for Coach Cal Lee’s Nationally Ranked Football Team. Outside of school, Blane ran a production shop out of an extra bedroom at home; producing sports highlight tapes and memory videos for clients.
After high school, Blane chose Chapman University as the
place to continue playing football and to study the craft of filmmaking
at the prestigious Chapman Film School. While at Chapman, Blane produced
4 short films and played 2 years of college football. 
Since his departure from Hawaii in 2000, Blane has crewed on more than 20 short films, Directed 4 short films and gained 3 years of working knowledge in Los Angeles and Honolulu on projects for Film, Television, and Commercial.
